Felicia Yvette Smith-Robinson (September 6, 1967 – September 17, 2026) was born to Johnny and Antoinette Smith. Entering the world early as a premature baby, she showed a resilient spirit from day one, defying the odds throughout her life. She grew up grounded in faith and family, attending Jane A. Neil Elementary School and Percy L. Julian High School. She studied Business Administration at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Western Illinois University, later earning a Master’s degree in Public Health and Fraud Management from Saint Xavier University in 2011. Driven by compassion, Felicia devoted her career to advocating for individuals and families through social service and healthcare agencies. On August 4, 2007, Felicia married her devoted husband, John Robinson, in a destination ceremony in Hawaii. Together, they built a life defined by love, mutual support, laughter, and the joyful journey of blending their family. Felicia lived with undeniable flair, elegance, and humor. She was passionate about style—always ensuring her hair and eyelashes were flawless and indulging her love for luxury handbags—and cherished times with her book club. She also possessed a legendary love for good food, from her father’s gumbo and I-57 rib tips to her iconic habit of carrying Tabasco sauce everywhere, even having it DoorDashed to her hospital room. Throughout her life, Felicia faced significant health obstacles with extraordinary courage, continually bouncing back with grace, strength, and a bright smile. She is preceded in death by her mother, Antoinette. Her memory lives on through her husband, John; stepsons, John Jr. (and wife) and Shaquille; two beloved grandsons; her father, Johnny; her sister, Renee; nephews Thurl, Jeremiah, and Marcus; aunts Beverly and Barbara; godparents Peggy and Marcus “Butch”; best friend Nikki; godchildren Lauren, Jonah, and Daniel; as well as a large extended family and community of friends.
