In Loving Memory

Jospeh Babineaux
July 12, 1961 — May 8, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Father, who left this world on May 8, 2026, at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Born on July 12, 1961, in the warm embrace of Pacomia, California, Father was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience to all who knew him.
Father’s journey was marked by unwavering dedication to his family and community, a reflection of the values instilled in him by his cherished mother, Mary Babineaux. He was predeceased by his devoted mother, father, and beloved wife, who welcomed him into their heavenly embrace. His legacy continues to flourish in the lives of his children, brothers, sisters, and his five treasured grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Father's life was a testament to the power of love and perseverance. His heart was as expansive as the California skies under which he was born, always open and welcoming to friends and family alike. He was known for his infectious laughter, generous spirit, and the unwavering support he provided to those around him.
He faced life’s challenges with grace and dignity, drawing strength from his faith and the love of those he held dear. Even in his fight against colon cancer, Father demonstrated remarkable bravery, inspiring those around him with his resilience and optimism.
The family invites you to join them in a service to celebrate Father’s remarkable life. The service will be held on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Saint Mary Baptist Church. It will be a time to honor Father’s memory, share stories, and find comfort in the community that he so deeply cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research foundation of your choice, in Father’s name, to continue the fight against the disease that took him from us too soon.
Father’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the precious memories and the love he shared so freely. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find solace in knowing that his legacy of love will endure forever.
