Father's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a steadfast dedication to his family. Though he was not a man of military service, he served as a beacon of strength and guidance for his family and friends, always offering a listening ear and wise counsel. His beloved wife, Shanita Townes, was his lifelong partner and confidante, sharing with him a journey filled with cherished memories and an unbreakable bond. Together, they nurtured a family that would become his greatest pride and joy. As a devoted father, he leaves behind his son, Adrian Stokes, and daughters, Briana Coley and Tatiyana Stokes. To them, he was not just a father but a mentor and a friend, providing boundless support and love. His legacy will live on through the lessons he imparted and the love he lavished upon them. Father is also survived by his sister, Renee Thompson, who shared in his life's many adventures and stood by his side through thick and thin. Though he was predeceased by Joyce, whose memory he cherished deeply, Father's life was enriched by his extended family and a multitude of friends who became family.
