Fannie Woolum
June 1, 1972 — June 29, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fannie Woolum, who departed this world on June 29, 2026, at the age of 54. Fannie left us after a sudden heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on June 1, 1972, in the quaint town of Booneville, Mississippi, Fannie was a beacon of love and warmth from the very beginning. Her parents, who have since passed on, instilled in her the values of empathy and generosity, which she carried throughout her life. Fannie was also preceded in death by her beloved brother Earl Woolum, whose memory she cherished dearly.
Fannie’s life was a testament to the power of putting others first. Her caring nature and loving spirit were evident to all who met her, and she had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Whether she was helping a friend in need or lending a listening ear, Fannie’s selflessness knew no bounds.
A gifted artist at heart, Fannie found joy in the world of arts and crafts. Her creativity was boundless, and she spent many cherished hours bringing beauty into the world, one brushstroke and handcrafted piece at a time. Her works were not only a reflection of her artistic talent but also of her gentle spirit and vibrant imagination.
Fannie’s love extended beyond her circle of friends and family, touching the lives of many in her community. She believed in the importance of giving back, and in that spirit, she wished that any donations in her memory be made to a charity of the donor’s choice, continuing her legacy of generosity and care.
Fannie’s greatest pride and joy were her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Sandra Bayles, who carries on her mother’s legacy of love and kindness. Fannie was also the proud grandmother of five wonderful grandchildren, each of whom was a source of immense pride and happiness for her. Her love for them was boundless, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
In keeping with Fannie’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life and legacy. Though we gather in privacy, we are united in our shared love and admiration for a woman who gave so much of herself to others.
Fannie Woolum may have left this world, but her spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will live on through the lives she touched and the memories she created.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
