Faithanne Shelomi Jada Hill

January 8, 2002 — May 11, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Faithanne Shelomi Jada Hill, who left this world on May 11, 2026, at the tender age of 24. Born on January 8, 2002, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Faithanne was the cherished daughter to Odale and Burton Hill, and a beloved sister to Caleb Hill. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, all of whom were touched by her kindness and spirit. Though brief, Faithanne's life was filled with remarkable moments and memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends. Faithanne had an innate ability to connect with people of all ages. Her battle with cancer was met with unparalleled resilience and grace. Even in the face of pain and adversity, Faithanne rarely complained, choosing instead to be a beacon of strength and hope. Faithanne was an avid reader and lover of poetry. Her devotion to her faith was profound, and she served with dedication and enthusiasm on the dance ministry at her church, Tacarigua Open Bible Church. Her homegoing service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Faith Assembly International, located on Eastern Main Road, Arouca. A livestream link will be provided for those who cannot attend in person. The Hill family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, for their years of care and support. Special thanks are also extended to her local medical team, the compassionate end-of-life Palliative Care team from Live Health and the Promise House, and the many friends and family who offered unwavering love and support throughout Faithanne's journey. Faithanne was a bright light in our world, a remarkable young woman whose legacy of love, strength, and hope will forever live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her.
