It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Faith Jamu, a cherished soul who left us on her 49th birthday, August 13, 2026. Born on August 13, 1977, in the serene village of Kazakalowa in Ntcheu, Malawi, Faith was a beacon of love, strength, and wisdom to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Faith was the beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jamu, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience that she carried throughout her life. Her journey was marked by a deep commitment to her family, her friends, and her faith. She was a devoted partner to Geoffrey Kondowe Kanyori, with whom she shared the joys and challenges of life, creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. As a mother, Faith's legacy lives on in her children and her six grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She delighted in sharing her wisdom, stories, and love, ensuring that her family was always surrounded by her nurturing spirit. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of countless others in her community. Faith's life was a testament to perseverance and grace. Her journey was guided by her unwavering faith, as reflected in the words of 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Indeed, Faith lived a life of purpose, courage, and unwavering faith. Her family wishes to convey their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. In accordance with Faith's wishes, a private funeral ceremony has been held to honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Faith's legacy. Faith's passing has left a great emptiness in the hearts of her family and friends, but the memories of her love and wisdom will remain with us forever. We thank God for the life of Faith and for the years He gave us with her. Rest in peace, Faith Jamu. You will always be loved, remembered, and greatly missed.
