Born on May 2, 1972, in Philadelphia, Evelyn was a beacon of light and joy to everyone she encountered. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter were known to brighten even the darkest of days, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. daughter of Ramonita Estrada. She was predeceased by her father, Jorge Luis Oyola, whose memory she cherished dearly. Evelyn's legacy of love and warmth lives on in her children, Felicia Soto and Anthony Soto, who were the center of her world. Her life was further enriched by her five grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought her immense joy. Evelyn's vibrant spirit extended beyond her family to her many nieces—Alisia, Ciarra, Denise, and Anishelly—and nephews—Ezekiel, Francisco, Nathen and Donovan She also shared a special bond with her late nephew, George Santana, who preceded her in death. Her passions were as eclectic as they were vibrant. A die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, Evelyn found joy in cheering for her team and spending sunny days at amusement parks, the mummers parade, and the zoo. She had an unparalleled gift for making people feel welcome and cherished, using her humor and kindness to uplift those around her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Evelyn's life on August 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Compagnola Funeral Home, located at 4405 Nth 5 Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140. In this gathering, we will honor the remarkable woman she was and the joyful legacy she leaves behind.
