Evelyn was a graduate of North High School in Denver, where she began to cultivate the remarkable qualities that would define her life: kindness, resilience, and a deep sense of family. She dedicated her career to US West, retiring after years of service that were marked by her unwavering professionalism and dedication. Family was the cornerstone of Evelyn's life. She was the devoted mother of Gary (Becky) Fox, Dennis (Stella) Fox, and Nancy (Karl) Feiler, whose lives she enriched with her love, wisdom, and guidance. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—Debonney, Trey, Cameron, Megan, Scott, Jennifer, and Cory—and two great-grandchildren, Luka and Henry, all of whom cherished their "granny" and hold dear countless memories of joyful holidays and playful summer days spent under her caring watch. Evelyn had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She was an avid supporter of the Rockies baseball team, eagerly anticipating each new season. A culinary enthusiast, she delighted in exploring new recipes and sharing her love of cooking with her family. Her sweet tooth was legendary, and she was known for her fondness for ice cream and candy. Despite not enjoying driving, Evelyn had a spirit of adventure and would often take her grandchildren on bus rides around the city, creating cherished adventures and stories. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate family as she selflessly spent many years caring for her mother and brother, Irvin Peppler, in her home. Evelyn's nurturing nature and generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mollie, and her brother, Irvin.
