Evelyn Delois Council, born on October 18, 1963, in the warm embrace of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. She was a beloved daughter to the late Rooseveltz and Genell T. Council. Evelyn is predeceased by her brother the late Gary Council, her sister the late Cassandra Jackson, her beloved niece, Shybritney Council, whom all brought joy to her life. Her Children are as follows: Tamika(Simiurus)Carr, Sergio Council, Carl(Crystal) Bradford, Cameron(Ashley) Council, Shevonne Bradford Siblings: Phyllis(Milton) Little, Rosie(Dewayne)Johnson, Starla(Sammie)Griner, Mark(Saundra) Council, Loretha Council A Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Special Person: Tyrone Crumity Evelyn's journey was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, Carl Bradford, in Rochester, NY, where their home was a beacon of warmth and laughter. Together, they created memories filled with joy and love. A proud graduate of Franklin High School, Evelyn was a woman of integrity, known for her honesty and her straightforward demeanor. Her smile, radiant and infectious, had the power to light up any room she entered. Her passion for cooking and entertaining and dancing made her the heart and soul of every gathering. Evelyn's culinary skills, combined with her ability to make everyone feel welcome, ensured that her home was always filled with warmth and joy. Evelyn's faith journey began at an early age when she joined and was baptized at the Church of Jesus Christ in Rochester, NY. Her faith was a guiding light in her life and inspired those around her. She had a zest for life that was reflected in her love for taking pictures, visiting family and friends, and participating in various events and outings. Evelyn's presence brought life to every occasion, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know her. A service to celebrate Evelyn's life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Greater Harvest Church 121 Driving Park Ave. Her family invites all who knew her to join in honoring her remarkable life. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Greater Harvest Church, as well as the family and friends who reached out, donated, and supported them during this difficult time. Your love and consideration have been truly appreciated, and they are forever grateful for your unwavering support. Evelyn Delois Council's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the joy and light she brought into the world.
