Eva, born on December 16, 1957, in the close-knit community of Shamrock, Texas, took her final earthly journey on July 23, 2026. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and unwavering faith. A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, Eva's spirit shone brightly in every corner of her beloved hometown, where she spent her life giving back to others.
Eva graduated from Shamrock High School, where she first discovered her passion for helping those around her. This passion became her life's work as she embarked on a career filled with compassion and dedication. For nearly three decades, she served as the Director for Meals on Wheels, ensuring that countless individuals received not only nourishment but also companionship and care. Her nurturing spirit extended to her role as an LVN and Head Cook at the Shamrock Nursing Home, where she worked for over 15 years, touching the hearts of residents and staff alike with her warmth and culinary talent.
Eva's legacy is one of love and compassion, values she instilled in her family and community. She was predeceased by her cherished children, Denise Angton, and James Morgan. Frankie Angton - sister. Her parents, Franklin Angton and Annie Angton. Despite these profound losses, Eva's faith and resilience never wavered, serving as an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving sibling, Kathleen Holmes, who shared with Eva a lifetime of cherished memories. Her children, Ann Angton, Felecia Bell, George Morgan Jr., and Greg Morgan, continue to honor her legacy with their lives. Her grandchildren, Trenton Angton, PJ. Morgan, Elijah Morgan, Zariah Morgan, Robert Bell II, Olivia Bell, and Aqeela Morgan, will forever carry forward the lessons of love and kindness she imparted.
Eva's family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time. They hope that everyone who knew her will remember the kindness and positivity she shared with the world.
A celebration of Eva’s life will be held on August 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Shamrock, Texas.
Eva's light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, faith, and love that will endure for generations to come!
