It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Eva Blue-Ingram, who departed this life peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 85. Eva was born on July 29, 1940, into the loving arms of her parents, Anderson Blue and Nola Exie Strickland Blue, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and compassion. Eva was the cherished wife of Bobby Ingram, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family that blossomed through the years into a legacy of love and warmth. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children: Bobby Jr. Ingram (Deceased), Robert Ingram, Patricia Frederick (Kurt), Jonathan Ingram (Vinell), Gerald Ingram, Otis Ingram (Beverly), and Rose Ingram (Divere Simmons, her longtime companion). Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the proud grandmother of 28 grandchildren, who will forever hold her stories and wisdom close to their hearts, along with her many great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who adored her. Eva was predeceased by her dear siblings Theresa McNeil, Elsenia McRae, Patricia Blue, William Blue, Floyd Blue, Lonnie Blue, Charles Blue, and Bobby Blue. She is survived by her sisters Sylvia Dinnerson and Ellen Blue, who shared countless memories of joy and laughter over the years. Eva had a remarkable ability to touch lives, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her home was always open, her table always set with enough room for one more. Her laughter was infectious, her wisdom profound, and her kindness unparalleled. She was a beacon of love and resilience, teaching us all the invaluable lesson that true wealth is measured in the lives we touch and the love we give. Eva’s career as a bus driver was marked by her unwavering dedication and kindness. She was not just a driver but a beacon of safety and comfort to the many children she transported to school each day. Her gentle smile and warm greetings were a daily reminder of her nurturing spirit and her commitment to her community. Eva’s life was a testament to the power of love and family. She was a pillar of strength for those around her, always offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. Her home was a gathering place, where stories were shared, laughter echoed through the halls, and family ties were strengthened. Eva had a heart as vast as the sky, embracing everyone she met with kindness and generosity. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering faith, which she imparted to her family and all who knew her. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories that will be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to our dear Eva, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved family who have gone before her. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her love will forever be a part of our lives. A celebration of Eva’s life will be held at a later date, where her family and friends will gather to honor her memory and celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
