Ms. Eustell "Jenifer" Lyons Johnson, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, departed this world on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on December 26, 1946, in Guys Hill, Jamaica, Eustell was the daughter of the late Noami and Constatine Lyons. From her earliest years she carried a love for gardening and exotic plants, nurturing beauty from the earth with the same care she gave to people. She often worked to jobs so her children could attend private school, ensuring they had the opportunities she dreamed for them. Ms. Jenifer knew how to make a house feel like a home a meal feel like a feast, and every family gathering feel like something worth remembering. Even when her grandchildren were away at college, she found ways to make sure they felt her love preparing special homemade dishes so they could still taste the warmth of home. Her home was always filled with laughter, music, wonderful food, and love. She was a woman of many talents: a gifted cook, a creative designer, a devoted gardener and a healer whose homemade remedies were trusted by family and friends. Today, as her family prepares to say goodbye to her earthly presence, the love she poured into others does not disappear. It lives on in every recipe, every garment, every flower she planted, every gathering she hosted, every song she danced to every remedy she gave, every lesson she taught, and every memory she created. Her hands now may rest but the beautiful things those hands created will continue to speak for her.
