Eunice Pearl Ford
October 26, 1942 — April 4, 2026
Eunice Pearl Ford, a cherished soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, peacefully departed this world on April 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 26, 1942, in the quaint town of Lenore, West Virginia, Eunice was the beloved daughter of John and Frankie Marie Baisden. Throughout her life, she carried the values and love instilled in her by her parents and the bustling household she shared with her siblings.
Eunice was predeceased by her parents, John and Frankie Marie, and by her siblings: Clayton (fondly known as Cap), Bill (Flip), Harley (Bull), Gregory (Cold Gravy), Ivadenne (Denne), Waville (Jo Bob), Christine (Cricket), and Virginia (Penny). These family bonds nurtured a deep sense of love and loyalty in Eunice, qualities that she continued to exhibit throughout her life.
Her journey through life brought her to Summit Station, Ohio, where she distinguished herself as the dedicated Postmaster at the United States Post Office. Eunice's work was more than a job; it was a testament to her commitment to serving her community, a reflection of her helpful nature and genuine concern for others.
Eunice's legacy is lovingly carried forward by her son, James Craig Ford, and his wife, Shelley. She was a proud grandmother to James Michael Ford and a great-grandmother to the delightful Freya Ford. Her brother Guy Baisden, along with his wife Karen, also survives her, as do numerous nieces and nephews who remember her fondly.
Eunice was a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Her home was a haven of warmth and love, where she welcomed family and friends with open arms. Her kindness was a beacon, her willingness to help others a constant reminder of the goodness in the world. Above all, Eunice's love for her family was her greatest treasure, a legacy of care and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
In honoring Eunice's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. While the gathering will be intimate, the memory of Eunice Pearl Ford will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends.
May Eunice rest in peace, knowing she made the world a better place with her kindness, her love, and her unwavering dedication to those she held dear.
