It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Esther Margaret "Margie" Anderson on October 5, 2026, in the comforting embrace of her home in Chuluota, Florida. Born on July 11, 1946, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, Margie was the beloved daughter of Ward and Yvonne Duncan.
Margie's journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit, kindness, and a smile that could light up any room. She was a proud graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill, where she completed her studies with honors in 1964. Her professional life was dedicated to serving as an Office Manager for a Sanitation Company in Oak Hill, a role she fulfilled with diligence and grace for many years.
Her life was a testament to her deep faith and devotion to the Nazarene Church, where she was a lifelong member. Margie's musical talents were a gift to many; she played the piano beautifully and was an integral part of the Church Choir. Her music brought joy and solace to those around her, enriching the spiritual lives of her fellow congregants.
Beyond her professional accomplishments and spiritual contributions, Margie cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a fondness for an occasional visit to a casino, where her laughter and joy were contagious. Margie's genuine, warm personality endeared her to everyone she met, making it nearly impossible not to love her.
Margie was preceded in death by her cherished brother, Frederick Lee Duncan. She leaves behind a devoted family who will continue to honor her legacy: her loving husband, Dave; her brother, David; her sister, Lynn; her daughter, Tina; a son; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Each of them will forever hold her memory close to their hearts, cherishing the moments and lessons shared.
In remembrance of Margie's beautiful life, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, continuing her spirit of giving and kindness to others. Her legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in the stories, memories, and hearts of all who knew her.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the American Legion Post 242, East Colonial Drive, Orlando, Fl on Sunday, October 25 from 2:00 PM to 4 PM. No ceremonies, just a good time, good food, and lots of Music and Karaoke. That is what she wanted.
Margie will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and music she cherished throughout her life.
