May 26, 1982 — June 6, 2026

Ernesto (Ernie) Sal Eberle, born on May 26, 1982, in the town of Summertown, Tennessee, has left us far too soon, passing away on June 6, 2026. He was 44 years old. Ernie was a beacon of joy and warmth whose presence lit up the lives of all who knew him. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends. Ernie was the cherished son of Maria and Louis Eberle, who instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and an appreciation for the simple joys of life. He is also deeply mourned by his beloved wife, Tracy Tull, whose love and companionship were his constant source of happiness and strength. Ernie grew up with a large and loving family, including his brothers Nicholas Azurdia and wife Mavis, Felix Sal, and Juan Sal and wife Renee. He was predeceased by his sister, Orquidia Sal, whom he missed dearly. His spirit and laughter will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Miranda Azurdia, Nicholas Azurdia Jr., Isaac Sal Azurdia, Jacob Azurdia, Taylor Sal, Anthony Sal, and Ayden Azurdia. Ernesto also shared a special bond with his loyal companion, his dog Koa, who was always by his side. A proud graduate of Dripping Springs High School, Ernie was known for his confidence and wit, traits that endeared him to many. He was an avid guitarist, whose music brought joy to countless gatherings. He also loved water rafting and gardening. His green thumb and creative flair transformed every space he touched into a vibrant oasis. There will be a viewing on June 11, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, at Weed, Corley, Fish Funeral Home, located at 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX. Friends and family are invited to pay their respect and share special memories. The Eberle family is profoundly grateful for the outpouring of prayers and love they have received during this difficult time. To further honor Ernie’s memory, a Hawaiian Celebration of Life will be held at his parents' home on June 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We ask that you wear a Hawaiian shirt to honor him. It is a time to remember the joy and laughter Ernie brought into the world, and to find comfort in the community he cherished. Though Ernie’s journey on this earth has ended, his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
