Born on April 2, 1937, in the scenic town of Seaside, California, Ernest lived a full and meaningful life, rich with experiences and cherished moments.
He was the beloved son of Ernest Paul McKinney Sr. and Ellen Katherine Robison, who instilled in him the values of integrity, kindness, and resilience. Throughout his 89 years, Ernest exemplified these virtues, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
For many years, Ernest courageously battled dementia, a challenge he faced with the same strength and grace that characterized his entire life. Despite the difficulties, his spirit remained unbroken and his heart full of love for his family, who were his greatest joy and support during his final days.
Ernest is survived by his devoted family, including Joseph and Judy Medina, who cared for him with unwavering love and dedication. He is also lovingly remembered by his son, Erik McKinney, along with his two treasured grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to his life. Though he leaves no great-grandchildren, his legacy will continue through the lives and memories of his family.
Ernest's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and family. His gentle spirit and warm smile will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
