It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Erlita Panlilio, who departed this world on March 24, 2026, at the age of 71. Erlita's journey began on February 27, 1955, in the vibrant town of Pampanga, Philippines, where she first graced the world with her gentle and nurturing presence. Her life, marked by unwavering love and compassion, left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Erlita's life was a testament to resilience and generosity. For 40 years, she dedicated herself to the noble profession of caregiving, where she touched countless lives with her boundless empathy and selflessness. Her career was not merely a vocation but a calling, and she embraced it with the warmth and kindness that defined her very being. A devoted daughter of Jose and Lucia, Erlita was cherished by her siblings Edna, Elvie, Edwina, Oddie, Rey, and Robert. Her family meant the world to her, and she held dear the memories of her late sister Elvie Bansil and brother-in-law Sony Bansil. Erlita's life was not without loss, having been predeceased by her beloved children Vianca Urquico, Rafael Urquico, and Cecile Carranceja; her ex-husband Vergel Urquico; her son-in-law Paolo Carranceja; and her precious granddaughter Amelia Carranceja. Despite these heart-wrenching losses, Erlita's spirit remained unyielding, and her love for her surviving family members knew no bounds. Erlita found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to one cherished granddaughter, Amelia Carranceja. Her love for Amelia was a beacon of light, and she poured her heart into creating a world filled with love and laughter for her family. Those who knew Erlita will forever remember her as a selfless and giving soul. Her generosity knew no limits, and she had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. Erlita's laughter was infectious, and her warmth was a balm to those in need. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Erlita's life and legacy. As we say our final goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that Erlita's spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us to live with love, compassion, and kindness. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shared in Erlita's journey and offered their support during this difficult time.
