Erin Steve Johnson

July 30, 1979 — March 12, 2026

Erin Steve Johnson, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, left this world too soon on March 12, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on July 30, 1979, in Ely, Nevada, Erin was a light in the lives of all who knew him. His passing marks the end of a life filled with love, laughter, and a remarkable ability to connect with those around him. The son of the late Clarence W. Johnson and Eldora (Barnson) Johnson, Erin was raised with the values of kindness, resilience, and an unwavering sense of community. Though his parents have gone before him, their legacy lives on in Erin's spirit and in the comfort of their reunion. Erin's journey through life was marked by a profound love for Robin R. Guyman (Spealman), with whom he shared precious moments in Ruth, Nevada. Although their paths diverged before his passing, Erin's heart remained full with the love they shared. His affection for Robin was a testament to his capacity for love, a trait that defined his relationships with all those who held a special place in his life. A "Jack of all trades," Erin's skills were as diverse as they were impressive. His friends and family will fondly remember him as someone who could tackle anything that came his way, excelling in every endeavor with a quiet confidence and a helping hand. His work ethic and versatility were admired by many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Erin is survived by his cherished siblings: his older brother Eric C. Johnson of Tucson, Arizona; his sister Cleola C. Johnson of Elko, Nevada; and his sister Elizabeth Eberheart (Hill) of Flint, Michigan. He was a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Though Erin's life was touched by challenges, particularly his struggle with mental health, his courage and perseverance were a testament to his strength. His passing serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of compassion, understanding, and support for those facing similar battles. A service to celebrate Erin's life will be held on March 21, 2026, at the Ely Elks Lodge at 2:18 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Erin's memory, share stories, and find solace in the community he so loved. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Erin not for the struggles he faced but for the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him. May his spirit find peace, and may those he leaves behind find comfort in the love that surrounds them. Erin, you will be deeply missed, and forever cherished.
