In Loving Memory

Erin Brunner
December 8, 1981 — April 13, 2026
Erin Brunner, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, departed this earthly realm on April 13, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on December 8, 1981, in Bedford, Ohio, Erin's journey through life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her admirable work ethic, and her delightful sense of humor.
Erin was a woman of many talents and interests, known for her ability to multitask with an ease that left others in awe. Her educational journey began at "The Ohio State University," where she humorously claimed to have earned a "made-up" degree. However, it was her time spent in local bars near Miami of Ohio's campus, sharing laughter and stories with legendary quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, that truly made an impact on her life. These were cherished memories that she often recounted with a twinkle in her eye.
In 2020, Erin embarked on a new chapter in her career when she joined CSM. Over the years, she became a cherished member of the team, bringing joy and laughter to each of the 50 facilities she frequented. Her dedication and commitment to patient care were evident in every aspect of her work, leaving a lasting impression on the lives she touched. Although she has now moved on to the "glorious other side of CSM," her legacy of compassion and kindness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Erin was also a pioneer in her field, being the only employee to ever complete the rigorous Revital training. Despite being encouraged to explore the world of pelvic health, she chose to focus her energies on the aspects of her career that brought her the most joy and fulfillment.
Outside of her professional life, Erin found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent with her fellow Vestavia moms, sharing laughter and mimosas. An avid gardener, she often found peace and tranquility in tending to her garden, even when faced with the occasional challenge of mudslides along HWY 31.
Erin's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dave, and their two beautiful daughters, Lillian and Avery. Her family was the center of her world, and she showered them with love, laughter, and support. Though Erin did not have grandchildren, the legacy of love she leaves behind will continue to flourish through her children.
As we celebrate Erin's life, we invite those who wish to honor her memory to consider making a donation to Dabbs' Family Food Fund, an organization close to her heart.
In remembering Erin, let us celebrate the laughter, the love, and the light she brought into our lives. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with joy, compassion, and an indomitable spirit that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
