Erica was a delightful daughter, sister, and friend, predeceased by her beloved mother, Linda Susan Washabaugh. She is survived by her devoted sister, Melanie Susan Murray of Kentucky, and her brother, William McGlaughlin of Pennsylvania. Erica's love extended deeply to her nieces and nephews—Akira, Lucas, Daisy, and Hunter—each of whom held a special place in her heart. A proud graduate of the Presley Ridge Day Program, Erica pursued her passions with enthusiasm and a zest for life. She was an avid scrapbooker and had a knack for capturing the beauty of life through her amateur photography. Her creative spirit flourished as she penned whimsical short stories, and she was a foodie who loved to go out and try new restaraunts. Known for her love of shopping, Erica's favorite pastime was a heartfelt conversation with her sister, a testament to their close bond. Erica's infectious sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her. Her laughter, a melody in itself, could brighten the darkest of days. A lover of country music, she often broke into spontaneous song, lifting spirits wherever she went. Her generosity and love for making others laugh were gifts she shared freely, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. A celebration of Erica's life will take place on September 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Round Hill Cemetery, located at 2131 Round Hill Church Rd, Elizabeth, PA 15037. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a sweet young lady whose heart was as big as her smile. In a special message, the family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated workers who were with Erica every day, providing her with care and companionship. In lieu of flowers, donations in Erica's memory can be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting her giving nature and love for bringing happiness to others. Erica's spirit will live on in the laughter she inspired and the memories she created. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
