In Loving Memory

Emma Grace Teague
January 25, 2004 — March 21, 2026
It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Emma Grace Teague, who departed this world far too soon on March 21, 2026, at the tender age of 22. Born on January 25, 2004, in the warm embrace of Lugoff, South Carolina, Emma's life, although brief, was a testament to love, dedication, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
Emma was a cherished daughter of Amy and Ernest Teague, who, along with her sister Abbie, will forever hold her memory close. Emma was predeceased by her beloved sister, Kenzie Teague, as well as her adoptive mother, Kara, and stepfather, Jordan. She is also survived by her devoted partner, Kristopher Pyle, whose love and companionship brought light to her life.
A bright and enthusiastic student, Emma graduated from Lugoff-Elgin High School before pursuing her passion for education at USC Sumter College. Her calling as a teacher led her back to her roots, where she dedicated herself to inspiring young minds at Lugoff-Elgin High School. Emma's classroom was a place of warmth and encouragement, where her welcoming smile and compassionate spirit left an indelible mark on her students' lives.
Emma's life was rich with love and family. She was a nurturing mother to her daughters—Lexi Duran, Rachel Brahman, Danielle Colton, Colby Everyleigh Dixie—and her sons, Darrel, Tristin, Bruce, and Keith. As a grandmother, she found immense joy in the laughter and innocence of her grandchildren. Her family was her world, and her love for them was boundless.
Emma's interests extended beyond her family and career. She found solace and joy in nature, whether she was fishing, hunting, or riding her beloved horse, Layla, across the fields of her cherished ranch. Her faith was her guiding light, and she lived for Jesus, sharing her love and kindness with everyone she encountered.
Emma's life was marked by her unwavering warmth and the ability to uplift those around her. Her presence could light up any room, and her genuine care for others was a true testament to her character.
A service to honor and celebrate Emma's life will be held on March 29, 2026, at 9:30 PM at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Powers Funeral Home Memorial Fund, a tribute to Emma's enduring legacy of love and compassion.
As we mourn the loss of Emma, we also remember the joy she brought into our lives. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, a guiding star to those who were blessed to know her. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt message: "Forever in our hearts."
Emma Grace Teague's journey may have ended too soon, but her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.
