Emma Acosta

Emma Acosta, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 7, 1937, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico. At the age of 25, she married Jose Acosta and moved to El Paso, Texas, where together they began building their family and life. Throughout her 88 years, Emma remained a beacon of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She and Jose shared a beautiful 63 years of marriage, building a lifetime of memories rooted in love, devotion, and family. Emma is survived by her devoted husband, Jose Acosta; her children, Cristina Acosta, Ramon Acosta, Emma Fuentes and her husband, Alfonso Fuentes, and Joe Acosta and his wife, Carmen Acosta; and her seven beloved grandchildren: Andrea Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, Ramoncito Acosta, Samuel Fuentes, Adrian Acosta, Mingo Acosta, and Victoria Acosta. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in each of them. She lovingly passed down her many talents and traditions, sharing her skills in dancing, sewing, knitting, and cooking with those she cherished most. Emma's life was devoted to nurturing her family, a gift she shared with an abundance of kindness and grace. Known for her love of music and dancing, she filled her home with melodies, laughter, and joy. Her wit and humor brought smiles to everyone who knew her, and her creativity knew no bounds. Her love for life was infectious, and her unwavering faith in God served as a guiding light for her family. Emma Acosta's legacy of love, laughter, faith, and cherished family traditions will forever live on in the hearts of those blessed to know her.
