Elyas's journey began in the vibrant city of Toronto on May 28, 2007, where he was welcomed into the world by his loving parents, Hussnain and Umma Sharefe.
Elyas's life was a tapestry woven with laughter, love, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. A graduate of SATEC @ W.A. Porter Collegiate Institute, Elyas's academic journey was marked by numerous accolades in writing and videography, reflecting his creative spirit and commitment to excellence. At the time of his passing, he was on the cusp of completing his undergraduate degree at Western University—a testament to his dedication and intellectual curiosity.
Professionally, Elyas made notable contributions to the field of artificial intelligence, where his work continues to influence innovation and progress. His colleagues remember him not only for his brilliance but also for the genuine kindness that permeated his every interaction.
Elyas lived his life as a beacon of joy and laughter. Known for his love of pranks, he brought smiles and light-heartedness to those around him. His hobbies reflected this joyful spirit, and he relished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Saleha Saeed, whom he married on November 27, 2025. Together, they shared a life filled with quiet contentment and mutual adoration, often surrounded by their cherished family and a loving litter of cats.
Beyond his personal and professional achievements, Elyas was a pillar in his community. As the once commanding leader of the wolfettv community and a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he touched many lives with his unwavering dedication and faith.
Elyas's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, including his father, Hussnain Sharefe, and his devoted wife, Saleha. He is predeceased by his dear mother, Umma Sharefe, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Elyas's life, in accordance with his wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Elyas's digital footprint be respected as per his final declaration.
