February 10, 2002 — March 3, 2026

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Elvie Nelson, affectionately known as "TJ," who departed this world on March 14, 2026. Born on February 13, 2002, in Little Rock, Arkansas, TJ graced us with 24 years of love, laughter, and an indomitable spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. TJ was the cherished son of Jarvithia Randolph (Felix) and Jessie Wilder. In addition to his parents, he leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory dear: his grandmother Deborah Aaron (Clyde), siblings Ezra Patterson, Sebraya Hill (Alex), Tierra Nelson, and Kimberly Anderson (Ralph), along with his stepsisters Telisha Wilson (Robert) and Barbara Wilder. His life was also blessed with a host of other relatives and friends who were drawn to his warmth and kindness. From an early age, TJ professed his faith in Christ, living a life full of laughter and love. His spirit made everyone feel special, and his heart overflowed with compassion. He had a unique ability to bring comfort and closeness to those around him, always extending a helping hand to the homeless and anyone facing hard times. His selflessness and kindness were a testament to the character of the man he was. To his mother, TJ was more than a son; he was a piece of her heart, an anchor to the family whose love wove them closer together. His presence was a source of comfort, and his legacy of love is one that will be carried by all who knew him, forever and always. As we navigate life without his physical presence, we find solace in the words of Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe He is near us now, surrounding us with His love and grace. TJ, you will be deeply missed, but your love, your voice, and your spirit will live on in each of us. Until we meet again, we hold onto the memories and the love you gave so freely. A celebration of TJ's life will be held on March 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, located at 800 Page Mill Rd, North Little Rock, AR 72114. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in TJ's memory to organizations that support the homeless, continuing his legacy of helping those in need.
