Elora peacefully departed this life at her home on October 6, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her devoted niece, Michelle Simmons, and her caring nephew, Kevin Simmons. Born to Ellis Hampton Cain and Orwetta Claudine Cain, Elora grew up in a home filled with love and faith. Her parents instilled in her the values that she carried throughout her life, nurturing a spirit of generosity and kindness that touched everyone she met. Elora was predeceased by her dear parents, her sister Cheryl Simmons, and her brother Richard Cain. Elora's life was a testament to the profound love she held for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her existence, providing her with strength, guidance, and a deep sense of peace that she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. To Elora, love was not just a feeling but an action, and she demonstrated this through her countless acts of kindness and her ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished. Throughout her life, Elora was surrounded by family and friends too numerous to count, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched with her radiant smile, her gentle words, and her boundless compassion. Elora's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have provided support and love during this time. A memorial service to celebrate Elora's life will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver, Colorado, with details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice, a gesture that would honor Elora's generous spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.
