Eloise Marie Clark

April 8, 1957 — May 21, 2026

With a heavy heart and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Eloise Marie Clark, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this world on May 21, 2026. Born in the vibrant city of St. Louis, Missouri, on April 8, 1957, Eloise was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. She now joins in eternity her parents, Leroy and Dolores Ann Williams, her cherished siblings, Sheila, Leroy Jr., Reginald, Andrew, and Ronzell, and her beloved husbands, Michael Hicks and George Allen Clark. Eloise's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering faith. She dedicated her life to family, faith, and community. Educated at Phillip J. Hickey and Charles Sumner High School, she went on to make a lasting impact as a school bus driver, where she was entrusted with the safety and care of countless children. Her career spanned many years with HDC, Mayflower, Atlantic Express, Laidlaw, and First Student, until her health required her to retire. Eloise’s heart was most at home in the company of her family. She is survived by her treasured son, Steven Allen Clark, and her legacy of love continues through her 14 grandchildren: Michael, Steven, Daelon, Brendon, Ayden, Tahj, Brayden, Jayce, Christian, Maya, April, Angel, Brianna, Brittany, and her bonus grandkids, Sam and Zion. Eloise also leaves behind her devoted sisters, Tanya (Maurice), Sylvette (Larry), Carolyn, Lavonne (Donald), Andrea, Tonita (Orville), and her caring brothers, Renwick (Sarita) and Reuben. Her aunts, Joyce, Mary, Beverly, and Claudette, along with her godbrother, Kevin Ross, and goddaughter, Kishi Carter, will forever hold her memory dear. She was a nurturing presence to her bonus daughters, Krystal and Shiree, and a beloved aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Eloise's spiritual journey was as vibrant as her life. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Trinity Temple Church and continued her faith walk with International True Gospel Church. Her faithful attendance and service at Pure Holiness Temple Church under the leadership of Pastor Hattie Thomas were a testament to her steadfast devotion. Her hobbies reflected her zest for life. Eloise loved singing, swimming, sewing, cooking, dancing, playing cards, and cherished family gatherings. She was a jack of all trades, and her joy in these activities was only surpassed by the love she had for her family. A celebration of Eloise’s life will be held on June 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Serenity Memorial Cremation and Funeral Service, located at 1905 Union Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63113. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we continue to cherish her memory and ask you to keep us in your prayers. "Thank you, and May God Bless You All."
