April 8, 2026 — April 11, 2026

It is with the deepest sorrow and tender love that we announce the passing of our beloved Ellie Mae Fields, who graced this world with her presence for a brief but profoundly impactful three days. Born on April 8, 2026, in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, Ellie left us far too soon on April 11, 2026, cradled in the love of her parents, Chris Fields and Alisha Draughn. Ellie Mae's arrival was eagerly awaited and warmly welcomed by her family, who cherished every moment they were able to spend with her. Though her time with us was short, she brought with her an abundance of joy and love that will forever change the lives of those who knew her. Her beautiful spirit touched many, leaving an indelible mark that will be cherished eternally. In her short life, Ellie joins her great grandparents Roy and Betty Draughn, Audrey and Bill Webb, Arlie Gibson, Wayne and Diane Wheeler, and Louise Fields, along with her great aunt Sherry Mcnamey and cousin Debarae Frazier, in peaceful rest. We take comfort in the thought of Ellie being embraced by the love of those who have gone before her, weaving her tender spirit into the fabric of a family legacy that spans generations. The family is deeply grateful for the exceptional care and compassion provided by Kelly, RN dayshift in Antepartum at UT Medical Center. Her dedication and kindness during Ellie's time with us brought comfort and peace, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for the love she showed to Ellie and our family. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Ellie Mae's brief but meaningful life will be held at the Wheeler Family Cemetery on April 16, 2026, at 11:00 in the morning. The service will take place at 811 Old Dandridge Pike, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871. Family and friends are invited to join us in this solemn gathering to pay tribute to our precious Ellie Mae, sharing in the love that surrounds her memory. Though our hearts are heavy, we find solace in the knowledge that Ellie Mae's presence, however brief, filled our lives with immeasurable love and light. In her memory, we pledge to carry forward her legacy of love, cherishing each moment and holding those dear to us a little closer. Rest in peace, sweet Ellie Mae. You will forever be our cherished angel, loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
