September 1, 1945 — April 16, 2026

With profound sadness and a deep sense of gratitude for her life, we announce the peaceful passing of Ella Mae (Ridge) Losli on April 16, 2026, at her cherished home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 1, 1945, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ella's vibrant spirit touched everyone she met, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. Ella was the beloved daughter of the late Herman Ridge Sr. and Pauline Blount, and sister to the late Herman Ridge Jr. and James Ridge. She is predeceased by her son, Justin Dunkerson, and her second husband, James Moore. Though the family mourns these losses, they find solace in knowing she is joyfully reunited with them. Ella's life was a testament to love and commitment. She shared nearly 44 beautiful years with her husband, Stan Losli, whom she married on July 18, 1982. Together, they crafted a life that blended their families into a tapestry of shared memories and adventures. Ella is survived by her devoted husband, Stan, and her daughters, Cassandra (Dunkerson) Toro, Kimberly (Losli) Poe, Cindy (Moore) Royce, Angelia (Losli) King, and Sherry (Moore) Michener. Her legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 20.5 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward her spirit and values. Ella graduated from Dixie High School in 1963, beginning a life filled with adventure and service. Her passion for exploration led her to Phoenix, Arizona, where she embarked on a 25-year career as a flight attendant with America West, witnessing its evolution through mergers and changes. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her commitment to family, often working alongside Stan in construction projects when not soaring the skies. Known for her love of the great outdoors, Ella was an avid camper who cherished days spent on a pontoon boat, enveloped by the tranquility of nature. Her love for word games showcased her sharp mind and playful spirit. Ella was a "tough cookie" on the outside, yet those who knew her understood her to be one of the most caring, generous souls. In accordance with Ella's wishes, a private funeral service will be held to honor her life. To celebrate her memory, the family invites those wishing to make a donation in her name to contribute to the American Heart Association through the memorial fund established in her honor. Donations can be made at Ella Losli Memorial Fund. Ella's indomitable spirit, compassionate heart, and zest for life will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. Her family finds comfort in the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind, knowing that her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift future generations.
