Born on February 14, 1956, Elizabeth was a beacon of love and compassion, much like the Valentine's Day on which she entered this world. Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Mary Dunigan and the late Roosevelt Collins. Her early years were filled with warmth and care, nurtured by her parents' love. She carried these values forward into her own family, creating a home filled with kindness and laughter. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her dear husband, Theodore Patterson, and her father, Roosevelt Collins. She is survived by her devoted mother, Mary Dunigan, who was a steadfast pillar in her life. Her legacy continues through her two beloved children, Lashondra Patterson and Theodore Patterson Jr., who were the pride and joy of her life. Elizabeth's heart was further blessed with the love of her five grandchildren: Jakari Richardson, Jakia Latham, and Sincerity Patterson. Each of them brought immense joy and fulfillment into her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. For over twenty years, Elizabeth dedicated herself to serving her community as a valued employee at the Lake County Courthouse. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent worker whose integrity and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Elizabeth's faith was an integral part of her life, and she found great joy in being an active member of her church community. Her unwavering spirituality was a source of strength and comfort to her, and she generously shared this faith with those around her. The family would like to extend a heartfelt message of gratitude to Elizabeth’s two very dear friends, Bobbie Jones and Linda Drake. Their unwavering friendship and support brought joy and companionship to Elizabeth throughout her life, and their presence will continue to be cherished by the family.
