Elizabeth Murray, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this world at her home on September 9, 2026. Born on March 31, 1942, in Cresson, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of Edward and Mary Ruth Dobbie. Her early years in Cresson were filled with joy and laughter, setting the tone for a life that would touch countless hearts.
Elizabeth embodied warmth and intelligence, qualities that allowed her to form deep and lasting friendships. Her sharp wit and outgoing nature made her a beacon of joy to all who knew her. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, making each friend feel like they were the most important person in the world.
On July 1, 1967, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Kenneth Murray. Together, they built a beautiful life over 59 wonderful years, raising two remarkable children, Kim and Michael. Elizabeth's family was her pride and joy, and she poured her heart into nurturing a home filled with love, laughter, and compassion. Her legacy continues through her beloved children and her cherished grandchild, who was the light of her life.
Elizabeth is survived by her devoted husband Kenneth, her children Kim and Michael, her loving sister Karen, her son and law Kirk, and her treasured grandchild jargon. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a guiding light, a source of unwavering support, and a confidante who was always ready with kind words and wise counsel.
A service to honor Elizabeth's remarkable life will be held on September 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Margaret Mary's, located at 1101 W New Hope, Cedar Park, TX 78613. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Elizabeth's kindness are invited to join in celebrating her life and legacy.
Elizabeth Murray will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. All her friends considered her their best friend.
