June 20, 1941 — August 20, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Elizabeth H. Lubin, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on August 20, 2026. Born on June 20, 1941, in the quaint town of Talasheweiler, Germany, Elizabeth's life was a testament to grace, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Elizabeth was the devoted wife of Kenneth W. Lubin, with whom she shared a remarkable journey filled with love, partnership, and shared dreams. Her life was centered around nurturing her family, and her legacy lives on in her beloved children: Ina Williams, Mike Hamm, Helen Emerson, Will Lubin, Ingrid Armstrong, Dustyn Armstrong, and Casey Armstrong. Her nurturing spirit and love for family found even greater expression in her role as a grandmother to four cherished grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Elizabeth's professional journey was one of creativity and dedication. While she spent many joyful years as a stay-at-home mom, she also found fulfillment in the world of catering and event planning. Her meticulous attention to detail and passion for creating memorable experiences brought joy to countless celebrations and gatherings. Those who knew Elizabeth would describe her as a beacon of warmth and hospitality, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. Her home was a place of refuge and delight, where laughter and love flourished. A memorial service to honor Elizabeth's remarkable life will be held on August 26, 2026, at the McMinn Memory Gardens, located at 1727 County Road 560, Athens, Tennessee. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of choice, in tribute to Elizabeth's generous spirit and her commitment to making the world a better place. As we bid farewell to Elizabeth, we hold close her memory with the special words of her family: "A loving mother and grandma. Gone from this world but not our hearts." Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of those she touched.
