Born on February 19, 1958, in Dothan, Alabama, Elizabeth was a beacon of love and resilience, whose warmth touched all who knew her. Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of the late James and Mamie Lou Franklin. She shared her early years with a close-knit family, including her sisters Barber Harper, Sewell Franklin, Fayette Franklin, and her brother Larry Franklin, all of whom predeceased her. Elizabeth faced life’s trials and triumphs with unwavering grace and an indomitable spirit, a testament to her deep faith and enduring strength. A mother whose love knew no bounds, Elizabeth is survived by her cherished children: daughters Keely and Keisha Franklin, and sons Kendrick and Kentrell Franklin. Her legacy continues through her family, which she always regarded as her greatest achievement and joy. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her precious daughter Kim Franklin and beloved son Kentrell Franklin. Their memories were a source of comfort and inspiration to her, and she carried them in her heart every day. Her family extended through the generations, and Elizabeth was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Liz," a title she wore with pride and delight.
