Elizabeth Mary Emmett (Beth, Sunshine), a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on March 2, 1963, in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn, New York, was a resident of Lake Panasoffkee Florida before her passing. Elizabeth was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Kathleen Emmett. Her journey through life was marked by profound love, unwavering support, and the enduring connections she forged with family and friends. Elizabeth was the beloved sister of Heidi Brown, Katie Newcome, Maggie Shepherd, Bob Emmett, and Danny Emmett. She is survived by her son, Edward Emmett, his loving wife Alyssa, and their cherished son, Frank, who was the apple of Elizabeth's eye. Elizabeth's extended family included many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored and treated as her own. Elizabeth was predeceased by her dear parents, Raymond and Kathleen, and her two sisters, Amy Marie and Jody Harvey. Their memories lived on in her heart, and she often spoke of the times they shared. Throughout her life, Elizabeth embraced a variety of roles in her career, which included fond memories of her time working at Dunkin' Donuts with Charlie. She often reminisced about the camaraderie and warmth of that experience. She also cherished the opportunity to work in an office setting for her sister and brother inlaw. Elizabeth's hobbies and interests were as colorful and vibrant as her personality. She found joy in the art of latch hook, the challenge of crossword puzzles, and the simple pleasure of a good book. Her love for baking filled her home with warmth and delicious aromas, especially when she had the chance to bake for her grandson, Frank. Classic Rock 'n' Roll tunes often provided the soundtrack to her days, bringing a smile to her face as she sang along to her favorite songs. At the core of Elizabeth's being was an immeasurable love for her family. She treasured every moment spent with them, particularly with her grandson, Frank, who brought her endless joy and pride. Her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter, where she was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. Elizabeth's kindness and generosity were as boundless as her heart. She was the type of woman who would help anyone in need, regardless of the circumstances. Her unwavering love for those around her was evident in everything she did—whether offering support to a friend, sharing wisdom with her family, or simply being there for someone. As we say goodbye to Elizabeth, we remember a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will continue with us. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Elizabeth Emmett may have left this world, but her light will never fade. A memorial service celebrating Elizabeth's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to share memories and honor a remarkable woman who touched so many lives. Rest in peace, dear Elizabeth. You will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered.
