Eli Jacob Raymond

Eli Jacob Raymond, a cherished husband, devoted father, loving son, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 34. Eli's final moments were spent in a hospital in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by the warmth and love of his wife and parents. Born on March 16, 1992, in Riverton, Wyoming, Eli's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and deep love for nature. Growing up amidst the majestic landscapes of Wyoming, he developed a lifelong passion for the mountains, where he found solace and joy in hunting and fishing. Many of his fondest memories were made alongside his beloved puppy, Pooh Bear, as they explored Idaho's rivers and lakes, sharing quiet moments and adventures together. Eli spent his Younger years in Dubois Wy. His family moved to Riverton in 2006 where he was raised by his devoted parents, Jackie and Judy Raymond. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jack Raymond and Dorothy Long Raymond, and his Aunt Joyce Sherd and Uncle Chuck Sherd, who held a special place in his heart as his "Grandma and Grandpa." Also preceding him in death was his Uncle Chico Martinez and his cherished pup, Pooh Bear. Eli's legacy is carried forward by his loving wife, Stephanie Marie Raymond, with whom he shared eight wonderful years, including four as husband and wife. Their union was a beautiful testament to love and partnership. He is also survived by his daughter from a previous relationship, Izabella Summer Raymond, who was the light of his life. He leaves behind his parents, Jack and Judy Raymond of Riverton, who nurtured and guided him throughout his life. Eli's bond with his siblings was unbreakable; he is survived by his brothers, Eric Raymond and wife Amy of Riverton, and Dawson Hagen and wife Krystal of Texas, as well as his sisters, Katie Wright and husband Tyler of Upstate New York, and Mariah Daniels and husband Corey of Riverton. His maternal grandmother, Shirley Peck Black of Riverton, will forever hold him dear in her heart. Eli's extended family, including numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends, were all touched by his generous spirit and infectious laughter. His presence was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will remain a guiding light in their lives. In honor of Eli's life and his journey, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to Wyoming Valley Alcohol & Drug Services, located in Wilkes Barre, PA. Eli Jacob Raymond's life was a beautiful adventure, one filled with love, laughter, and a profound connection to the world around him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all whose lives he touched. The family will have a Celebration of life for Eli in the coming months.
