It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Elena Longoria, who peacefully departed this world on July 3, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 26, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan, Elena was a beacon of light and strength, fighting a courageous battle against cancer with unwavering grace and dignity. Elena was the cherished daughter of Lalo Longoria and Rafaela Euresti. She was predeceased by her dear brother, John Longoria, and her beloved sister, Belinda Euresti. Elena's legacy continues through her devoted family, including her loving children Abbie Elena Diaz, Georgette Diaz, Jorge Diaz, Edwin Colon, and Yvette Branch. She was the proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren and was further blessed with three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. In 1972, Elena graduated from Naples High School, marking the beginning of a life filled with dedication to family and community. Shortly thereafter, she married her lifelong partner, Juan Longoria, with whom she shared 45 beautiful years in Southwest Florida. Together, they built a life centered on love, respect, and unwavering support for one another and their five children. Elena's warmth and kindness were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her home was a welcoming haven filled with laughter, love, and the delightful aroma of her renowned cooking, where family and friends gathered to create lasting memories. Elena's legacy of love and compassion has left an indelible mark on her community, where she was known for her generosity and her unwavering commitment to helping others. A service to honor Elena's remarkable life will be held on July 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, located at 134 2nd St, Immokalee, FL 33941. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Elena's life and to share in the cherished memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Elena's memory. Her spirit of giving and compassion will live on through these acts of kindness. Elena Longoria will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, her gentle spirit, and her remarkable ability to bring joy to the lives of those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and in the countless lives she touched throughout her journey. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
