Eleanor Louise Moore
January 16, 1933 — February 19, 2026
Eleanor Louise Moore, a beacon of unwavering faith and unconditional love, peacefully laid her crown at the Lord’s feet on February 19, 2026. Born on January 16, 1933, in the charming city of Charleston, South Carolina, Eleanor graced this world with her gentle spirit and boundless kindness for 93 remarkable years.
Daughter to the late Henry James Moore and Marianne Moore, Eleanor was a proud Charlestonian who carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life. With a heart as warm as the Southern sun, she dedicated herself to family and faith, leaving a profound mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her cherished sister Kathy Moore, and her dear brother Willie Moore. Yet, she leaves behind a legacy of love that transcends generations. Her devoted partner, James Sanders, and her loving sister, Brenda Moore, will carry her memory forward, along with her family, which includes nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Every one of them was a testament to Eleanor's nurturing heart and generous spirit.
Eleanor’s life was a rich tapestry woven with love, resilience, and an unshakeable faith in the Lord. Her family was her crowning achievement, and she took immense pride in the successes and happiness of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She served as a guiding light, teaching them the values of compassion, humility, and perseverance.
Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who shared in Eleanor's journey. They invite you to celebrate her extraordinary life at a service on February 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the True Believers Church of God by Faith, located at 45133 White Road, Callaghan, FL 35133. It will be a time to reflect, remember, and honor a life well-lived.
In this time of sorrow, we are comforted by Eleanor’s favorite scripture, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23. Her legacy will indeed live on through the generations she so lovingly nurtured and inspired.
As we bid farewell to Eleanor Louise Moore, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for the profound impact she had on our lives. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever remain a cherished part of all she touched. Rest in peace, dear Eleanor, secure in the knowledge that your work here was indeed "well done."
