Elaine was born on December 10, 1945, to Les and Edna Lee in Dungog, a picturesque town that would remain the backdrop of her life—a place where she cultivated deep roots and lasting friendships. Throughout her life, Elaine was a pillar of strength and love, always welcoming friends and family alike with her infectious smile and warm embrace. Bubby was a woman of remarkable beauty, both inside and out. Her radiant spirit was complemented by a kind heart and a generous soul, qualities that endeared her to everyone she met. She was a vibrant presence in the Dungog community, known for her effervescent personality and her unwavering dedication to her family. Elaine's life was rich with love and devotion, deeply devoted to her children, Joanne, Louese, and Jamie, who survive her and carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. She was a beloved grandmother to Cherree and John, and a cherished great-grandmother, who delighted in the laughter and joy of her great-grandchildren. Elaine also leaves behind her dear siblings, Beverley, Neville, and Joan, who shared in countless cherished memories. In her passing, Elaine joins her parents, Les and Edna, her siblings Kevin, Barry, Ray, Dawn, Jill, and Jack, and her beloved granddaughter, April, who have gone before her. Though their absence leaves a void, her family finds solace in the belief that Elaine is now reunited with them, free from pain and suffering.
