ELAINE ADMIRE

November 1, 1935 — May 16, 2026

It is with profound sadness and yet a deep sense of gratitude for a life well-lived that the family of Elaine Admire announces her peaceful passing. Elaine, lovingly known as Mom, Tootsie, Auntie 'Laine, and Grammy, embarked on her eternal journey at home, having graced this world for nearly nine decades. Born on November 1, 1935, in Los Angeles, California, Elaine witnessed and embraced the vibrant tapestry of changes this world offered throughout her lifetime. Elaine was the cherished daughter of Ray and Doris Miranda, who, along with her step-mother Olga Miranda, sister Marilyn Chapman, beloved husband of 46 years, Tracy Admire, and daughter Cindy Admire-Gwin, predeceased her. Her legacy is lovingly continued by her surviving children: Dorothy Lynn Admire-Branch, along with her sons Jared and Justin Branch, and their respective families; Robert Admire, and his daughters Cassie Admire and Chrystal Admire-Williams with their families; and Olga Ivory with her children Jacqueline and Aaron Noe. Elaine's boundless love enveloped her 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, each a testament to the family she so dearly cherished. Elaine and Tracy celebrated a remarkable partnership, marrying on September 12, 1953. Together, they raised four children and shared a lifetime of adventures and accomplishments. In 1968, they moved from Fontana, California, to Henrietta, Texas, where they opened the beloved Burger Shop. For 55 years, the Burger Shop served as the cornerstone of their community, a family-run establishment where the motto "the customer is always right" resonated through the generations. Elaine's early career began at Aero-Jet in California, but her heart found its true calling alongside Tracy in their family business. Elaine was a woman of many passions. She relished traveling with Tracy, embarking on countless cross-country journeys to Nevada, Wyoming, and California. Her vibrant spirit found joy in simple pleasures like shopping at Sam's, playing Bingo, and adventuring with her children and grandchildren. Her home was often filled with the sound of music, as she played the piano from memory and hosted lively sing-a-long sessions. Elaine's adventurous spirit extended to the poker table, where her skill was well-noted. Her warmth, resilience, and generosity defined Elaine's character. She was a beacon of love, a nurturing presence that touched everyone she met. Her family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Helping Hands Hospice of Wichita Falls for the compassionate care provided to Elaine in her final days. Elaine leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and indomitable spirit. Her life was a testament to the power of family, the joy of simple pleasures, and the beauty of a life lived with an open heart. In honoring her life, we celebrate the profound impact she had on all who knew her. Elaine Admire's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be missed beyond measure.
