In loving memory of Edyza Barnes, who left us all too soon on October 17, 2026, at the tender age of 27. Born on September 26, 1999, in Cleveland, Ohio, Edyza was a beacon of light and joy, whose vibrant spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Edyza was the cherished daughter of Yasira Velez and the beloved mother of her two precious children, Zayden and Elizzianie. Her children were the center of her universe, and she devoted herself to their happiness and well-being with unwavering love and dedication. A proud graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Edyza went on to become a dedicated and hardworking supervisor at Primoz Pizzeria in Kamm’s Corners. Her colleagues and customers alike will remember her not only for her work ethic but also for her infectious laughter and the unique way she could light up any room with her presence. Edyza was known for her fun bursts of color in her hair, her unforgettable sense of humor, and her ability to bring people together. She loved sharing laughs and creating cherished memories with her family and friends. Her vibrant personality and loving heart made her a treasured friend to many. She leaves behind a loving family, including her siblings Jesus, Raul, Yazimari, and Rey; her grandparents Flor and Carmen Morales; her great-grandmother Alicia Gonzalez; her aunts and uncles Omar Morales, Wilfredo Velez, and Enrique Velez; her grand-aunt Tatita; her nieces Janae Dixon and Reta Barnes; and her cousins Maryalice, Cristina, Brenda, and Glenda. Edyza was a beloved niece and grandniece, and her family, along with countless friends, will miss her deeply. A celebration of Edyza’s life will be held on October 27, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, located at 7300 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio. Family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful life she lived and the legacy of love she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Edyza’s memory to a charity of your choice, as a way of continuing her spirit of giving and love. Edyza Barnes will forever be remembered for her boundless energy, her radiant smile, and the love she shared so freely. She leaves a legacy of laughter and love that will carry on in the hearts of all who knew her.
