Edwin Lee Elmore Jr
March 5, 1998 — August 19, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edwin Lee Elmore Jr., a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, who left us on August 19, 2026. Born on March 5, 1998, in Delhi, Louisiana, Edwin was a beacon of love and kindness, whose warmth touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Edwin was the son of Elizabeth Elmore and the late Edwin Lee Elmore Sr. He was a devoted father to his two beautiful children, Leigha Elmore and Noah Elmore, who were the very center of his universe. His love for them was boundless and evident in every moment he shared with them.
In addition to his children and mother, Edwin is survived by his siblings, Allen (Courtney) Elmore, Jacob Elmore, Hailee Bryant, and Katie Bryant. His grandmother, Vivian Jones, alongside his many aunts including Ethal Tatum, Sandra Jinks, Louise Jinks, Margie Jinks, Cynthia Richardson, and April Jones, uncles John Paul, Richard Davis, and Emmett Jones, His Nieces Alleson, Milana Alexandria, Paislee, Ryleigh and Kaylee. And Nephews Michael, Coleson and Sawyer. Among many cousins, friends and loved ones.
Edwin was predeceased by several dear family members, including his father Edwin Lee Elmore Sr., his grandfather Michael Jones, grandmothers Myrtle Powell and Helen Davis, his aunt Samantha Davis, cousin Justin Davis, and niece Aubree Strong. Their spirits surely welcomed him with open arms as he joined them.
To those who knew him, Edwin was a kind and gentle soul, whose love for his children was his guiding light. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
While we mourn the loss of Edwin, we also celebrate the wonderful life he lived and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. He will be deeply missed, yet his memory will endure, living on in the stories we share and the love we continue to hold for him.
