His bond with his mother, now Wilma Anne Smith, was one of mutual respect and admiration. Together with his sister, Jade Peete, Edward shared a childhood filled with treasured memories and shared dreams. A proud graduate of Rancho Verde High School, class of 1998, Edward was a man of many talents and boundless curiosity. His career as a salesman showcased his remarkable gift for communication and his knack for making connections. Edward was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, thriving on the flexibility of working on his own terms. He also spent a decade as a skilled mechanic, demonstrating his unwavering work ethic and dedication to excellence in every endeavor. From a young age, Edward was actively involved in his church community, participating in the head start program and nurturing his faith. An avid moviegoer, he possessed an encyclopedic knowledge of films and television shows spanning every genre. He had a passion for sports, with football holding a special place in his heart. As a fervent supporter of the Las Vegas Raiders, he cherished every game and shared his love for the sport with his children, Arrianna Julliett Peete, Edward Julian Peete Jr., and Aiden Nicholas Peete. Cooking was another of Edward's great passions. He loved nothing more than firing up the grill, crafting delicious meals, and bringing people together with his culinary creations. His laughter and quick wit were infectious, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome was truly a gift. Edward was a man of wisdom and insight, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood or a fact to spark a conversation. His knowledge spanned a remarkable range of subjects, from history to politics, and he was always eager to learn more and share his understanding with others.
