May 15, 1989 — June 6, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Joseph Marin Jr., a cherished son, devoted brother, loving uncle, and dear friend to many, who left this world on June 6, 2026, at the age of 37. Born on May 15, 1989, in Hudson, New York, Edward was a beacon of joy and warmth in the lives of those who knew him.
Edward was the beloved son of Denise Marin and the late Edward Joseph Marin Sr., who preceded him in death. Eddie adored and cherished his mammy! The love he had for his mother was like no other. He held the key to her heart as she held the key to his! He shared an unbreakable bond with his twin sister, also named Denise Marin, reflecting a connection that transcended words. He was the adored little big brother of Frances Williams, who cherished his guidance and support throughout their lives. As a loving uncle, Eddie played a significant role in the lives of his nieces and nephews: Johanna Johnson, 19, Kareem Williams, 14, Eleyana Williams, 2, and Lennox Williams, 1. His presence in their lives was a treasured gift, filled with laughter and love.
A dedicated blacktopper and seal coater, Eddie was also known as the ultimate salesman, a testament to his skill and passion in his profession. His commitment to his work was matched only by his enthusiasm for life. Eddie was a proud member of the Full Gospel Rock Church in Lake Katrine, New York, where his faith and service to his community were evident to all who worshipped alongside him.
In his leisure time, fast Eddie found immense joy in driving his Pepsi blue Ford, often letting the rubber burn the blacktop, a symbol of his vibrant and adventurous spirit. His love for the open road was a reflection of his free spirit and zest for life.
Eddie’s personality was defined by his contagious smile and wholehearted laugh. He possessed a heart of gold that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His kindness, generosity, and warmth left an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
A service to celebrate Edward's life will be held on June 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Millspaugh Funeral Home. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Edward are invited to join in honoring and remembering the beautiful life he led.
Though Eddie has departed from this world, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Edward. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
