In Loving Memory of Edward Lee Fisher
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Lee Fisher, who left this world peacefully on August 3, 2026, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on January 13, 1980, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Edward was the beloved son of the late Carl Owen and Deloris (Gregory) Fisher. He was 46 years old.
Edward grew up in West Virginia, where he developed a passion for technology and computers, a lifelong interest that would later define his hobbies and career. He was known for his tech-savvy nature and a love for video games, always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Apart from his technological pursuits, Edward found solace in poetry and was an ardent fan of the Cleveland Indians, never missing a chance to watch them play.
Edward dedicated two years of his life working at Hexpol as a factory employee, where his work ethic and dedication were evident to all who knew him. His colleagues will remember him as hardworking and conscientious, someone who always put others above himself.
Above all, Edward was a family man. He is survived by his devoted wife, LaDonna (Porter) Fisher of Dyersburg, TN, his loving daughter, Courtney Fisher of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and his two sons, Curtis Fisher of Newbern, TN, and Chris Fisher of Mt. Juliet, TN. Edward also leaves behind his brother, Albert Fisher of West Virginia.
Edward was predeceased by his parents, his sister Loretta Dovrovich, and his brothers Carl and John Fisher. His family can find comfort in the memories they shared, knowing how much he cherished and loved each of them. Edward's sense of humor and ability to make those around him laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Edward's life will be held on August 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Halls Funeral Home, located at 109 N. Church St., Halls, TN 38040. Family and friends are invited to gather and remember the wonderful person Edward was.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Edward's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting his generous spirit and love for helping others.
Edward Lee Fisher will forever be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
