He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Linda Renee Boone, and his beloved sisters, Joni Foston and Barbra Ann Foston, whose memories he held dear until his last days.
He is survived by a devoted family, including a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brightened his days and filled his heart with joy. Edward was also blessed with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and loving friends, all of whom he adored deeply.

Their union was blessed with two children and a legacy of five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward Edward's spirit of warmth and generosity.
A proud alumnus of Tuskegee University, Edward graduated in 1956 and embarked on a fulfilling career with Southern Bell, where he dedicated 37 years of his life. From 1970 to 1974, Edward honorably served his country in the US Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant, and earning the respect and gratitude of his fellow servicemen.
Edward was an active and cherished member of his community, serving as a Deacon at Mt. Bethel Church for over 35 years. His faith was a guiding light in his life, and he found joy in serving his church and community, always with a smile that could light up a room.
