Eduardo "Flacko" Ortiz-Soto, lovingly known as Flacko, Juny or Eddy, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on January 22, 1974, in the picturesque town of Coamo, Puerto Rico, Eduardo was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Eduardo was the cherished son of the late Migdalia Soto and Eduardo Ortiz. Though they have preceded him in death, their legacy of love and resilience lives on in Eduardo's heart and actions. He is survived by his beloved partner Natasha, who stood by him with unwavering love and support. During this 8 year love story they were rekindled to continue their relationship. Many travels and experiences. He respected her and gave her unconditional love and she gave in return. His legacy continues through his siblings Judith, Marilyn, and Oscar Ortiz-Soto, and his children, Eduardo Jr., Luis, Kamaris, Kianaliz, Jazmyra, Yamila, Yanisa, and Valentin Ortiz-Soto, who will always cherish his memory. Known for his larger-than-life personality, Eduardo was a man of many passions. An avid fisherman, he found joy and tranquility on the water, casting lines and creating memories. His love for landscaping and gardening transformed his surroundings into thriving sanctuaries of beauty and peace. Eduardo was also an entrepreneur at heart, diligently working towards his business degree and constantly finding new ways to help and inspire those around him. Eduardo’s life was a rich tapestry of interests and skills. He could often be found riding bikes, taking road trips with loved ones, and delighting in the culinary arts as a true foodie. His hands were never idle, always building or creating something new. He treasured his animals and found pride and fulfillment in homesteading, living a life that was as self-sufficient as it was rewarding. Eduardo's sense of humor and protective nature endeared him to all who knew him. He was a man of strong beliefs, unafraid to stand up for what he held dear, and he fiercely protected the ones he loved. His generosity was boundless, always willing to lend a helping hand, yet he was never one to be taken advantage of. His family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A private ceremony will be held to honor Eduardo's life and legacy. In accordance with his wishes, Eduardo's final resting place will be in Puerto Rico, reunited with his mother, where he will forever rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eduardo's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of giving and love for helping others.
