With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of Edmond A. Desrosier Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 3, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Edmond was the cherished son of Edmond Desrosiers Sr. and Phyllis (Sanderson) Desrosiers. Edmond's life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, embodying the courage and resilience that would define his character throughout his life. On September 13, 2008, Edmond married the love of his life, Catherine (Crepeau) Desrosiers, with whom he shared 18 wonderful years. Together, they built a warm and loving home in Dudley, Massachusetts, filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Edmond was the proud father of five children: Erik Desrosiers and his wife Jacquelyn Manzi of Woodstock, CT; April Baldwin and her husband Charles of Webster, MA; Roy Desrosiers and his wife Becky of Webster, MA; Cory Desrosiers and his companion Stephanie Legte of Webster; and Ryan Desrosiers of Paxton, MA. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Robin Remillard of Millville, MA, and Kim Stockwell of Douglas, MA. His family was the center of his universe, and he was a devoted grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, each one holding a special place in his heart. Edmond's career was marked by dedication and hard work. He spent many years at Cranston Print in Webster, where his commitment and professionalism earned the admiration of colleagues and friends. Later, he continued his service to the community by working for the State of Massachusetts Highway Department. Edmond found great joy in the great outdoors, where he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and engaging in various outdoor activities. He was a proud member of the Singletary Rod and Gun Club in Oxford, MA, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his passion for nature with others. He is survived by his loving sister, Regina Penny of Thompson, CT, who shares the countless memories and stories of their youth and family adventures. A celebration of Edmond's life will be held on June 8, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery in Dudley, Massachusetts. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor a life well-lived, remembering the warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit of a man who touched so many lives. As we say goodbye to Edmond, we are reminded of his legacy of love, honor, and community. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his memory will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends. May Edmond rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
