Durham, NC - With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our precious Eden Marie Blarie, who left this world on June 5th, 2026. Born on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2026, Eden's brief but impactful journey was marked by courage and grace, and she will forever be a beacon of love and hope for all who knew her. Eden was the beloved daughter of Kayla and Joshua Blarie. During her short time with us, she brought immense joy and warmth to her family, who will cherish her memory eternally. Her presence, though fleeting, was marked by her captivating blue eyes, her daddy's brunette hair, and a little smile that could light up the room. Born at just 22 weeks, Eden faced challenges with remarkable strength. Her journey began in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she spent four months surrounded by the love and prayers of her devoted parents. Despite the difficulties, Eden found comfort and happiness in the tender moments shared during skin-to-skin time with her mother, Kayla. It was in these moments that Eden would play with her mom's hair, a simple act that brought profound joy and a connection that transcended words. Eden's life, though brief, was a testament to the resilience and boundless love that can exist in the smallest of packages. Her valiant fight and her sweet, serene nature touched the hearts of all who cared for her, and her story became one of inspiration and hope. Eden is lovingly survived by her parents, Kayla and Joshua, who find solace in knowing that their little angel is now in the arms of her heavenly Father. She is predeceased by her Aunt Sandy, who, no doubt, welcomed her with open arms in heaven. While Eden's time on Earth was too short, her impact was immeasurable. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were touched by her light. A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Eden's life and the love she brought into the world.
