In Loving Memory

Eddy Peterman
April 21, 1997 — March 16, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eddy Peterman, a beloved father, friend, and community member, who left us too soon on March 16, 2026, at the tender age of 28. Born on April 21, 1997, in the close-knit town of Big Springs, Nebraska, Eddy was the cherished son of the late Carl Peterman, with whom he is now reunited.
Eddy's life was one of warmth and generosity, and he possessed an extraordinary ability to make others feel cherished and welcomed. A graduate of South Platte High School and later, Northwest Kansas Tech, Eddy embarked on a rewarding career as a Diesel Technician at Reed Company in Manhattan, Kansas. Known for his diligence and expertise, he was a dedicated professional who earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
At the heart of Eddy's life was his precious daughter, Kanoa, who survives him and was his greatest joy and source of pride. Their time together was marked by laughter, love, and memorable adventures, often spent exploring the great outdoors or savoring the simple pleasure of a home-cooked meal. Eddy's love for grilling and cooking provided countless gatherings with delicious food and warmth, where he could often be seen trying out a new recipe or perfecting an old favorite.
Eddy had a remarkable gift for humor, always ready with a joke to brighten the day and lighten any room. His infectious laughter and genuine kindness were treasured by all who knew him. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued, never missing an opportunity to reach out with heartfelt messages on birthdays and holidays. Eddy's willingness to help others knew no bounds; he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.
Tragically, Eddy's life came to an unexpected end, leaving a void that cannot be filled. His passing is a poignant reminder of the silent struggles many face. Though his journey was cut short, his legacy of kindness and humor will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In honor of Eddy's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate his life and bid farewell. As we mourn his loss, we take solace in the memories and love he shared with us.
Eddy Peterman's life was a testament to the power of laughter, generosity, and unconditional love. May we carry these gifts forward in his memory, cherishing the time we had with him. Rest in peace, dear Eddy. You will be forever missed and eternally loved.
