It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eddy Marcena, who departed this life on August 25, 2026, at the age of 58, after a brief illness. Born on April 28, 1968, in the picturesque town of Saint Louis du Sud, Haiti, Eddy was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Eddy was the devoted son of Locita Vital and Lernet Marcena. Though his mother has predeceased him, Eddy carried her memory and teachings throughout his life. He was a man of profound love and loyalty, which he showed in his enduring marriage to Yvrose Simeus. Together, Eddy and Yvrose shared four beautiful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and mutual support.
