Born on July 1st, 1952, in the quiet town of Parkin, Arkansas, Eddie was the cherished son of Willie and Woodrow Pugh. His upbringing in a close-knit community instilled in him the values of kindness, resilience, and a tireless work ethic that he carried with him throughout his life. Preceded in death by his parents, Eddie's legacy continues through the lives he touched and the family he adored. Eddie's life was marked by his passion for mechanics, a profession that was more than just a job—it was his calling. A gifted mechanic, he could often be found under the hood of a car, finding joy in the hum of an engine and the satisfaction of a job well done. His shop was not only a place of work but a gathering spot for friends and neighbors who sought his expertise and enjoyed his infectious humor. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Katherine Pugh and Juanita (Essick) Covington, who were his pride and joy. Eddie was also a beloved grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense happiness and pride.
